Log Cabin Cake

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 1 chocolate cake mix
• Filling:
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 12 oz Cool Whip
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• Icing:
• 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup cream
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tsp cocoa
• 2 Hershey Bars

Preparation

Step 1

Cake:

Follow directions on cake mix box. Bake for 15 minutes. If using a cookie sheet, freeze cake until frozen. If using 3 small pans of the same size no freezing required.

Filling:

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Spread between layer of cake.

Icing:

Boil for approx. 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add 2 Hershey Bars. Beat until cooled, drizzle over cake.
