Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 2 tbsp champagne or white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sherry
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp agave nectar or syrup
- Salad:
- 2 cups broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1 to 2 ripe pears, cut into thin slices (about 1 3/4 cup after slicing)

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all the dressing ingredients in a small container or jar. Shake or whisk to combine.
In your serving bowl, place all the salad ingredients (broccoli, onion, walnuts and pears). Pour the dressing over and gently toss to coat.
