Ingredients

  • beef round steaks 2 pounds , cut into 1-inch cubes
  • onion 1 cup chopped
  • flour 2 tablespoons
  • paprika 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • garlic salt 1 teaspoon
  • pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • tomatoes diced 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can , undrained
  • bay leaf 1
  • sour cream 1 cup (8 ounces)
  • Hot cooked noodles
  • parsley minced fresh , optional

Preparation

Step 1

Place beef and onion in a 3-qt. slow cooker.
Combine the flour, paprika, garlic salt and pepper sprinkle over beef and stir to coat.
Stir in tomatoes.
Add bay leaf.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender.
Discard bay leaf.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream heat through.
Serve with noodles.
Sprinkle with parsley if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings.
