Ingredients

  • 1 (3lb) beef brisket (well-trimmed)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 bottle (6 oz.) chili sauce
  • 6 oz. beef broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 Tablespoon brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place brisket fat side down in slow cooker. Spread garlic evenly over brisket, add pepper & onions.
2. Combine chili sauce, broth, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Pour over brisket.
3. Cover; cook on LOW 8 hours.

Note: Potatoes and carrots can be added the last hour of cooking time.
