Ingredients
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1 small can of tomato paste or large can of tomato sauce
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes
- cinnamon
- oregano
- garlic clove
- bay leaf
- salt
- pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Chop a med. onion coarsely and cook until limp in oil or butter of your choice. Add a small can of tomato paste or a large can of tomato sauce and a can of chopped tomatoes and saute till sauce is hot. Flavor with dash of cinnamon, oregano, garlic clove, bay leaf, salt and pepper. If using tomato paste and maybe tomato sauce, thin sauce with 2 cups of water and let mixture boil till thickened. Add meatballs and let cook in sauce to absorb the flavors.
