Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups white chocolate (or almond bark), broken into bite-sized chunks

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheets.
