Ingredients
- 2 lb. Round steak (3/4 inch cubes)
- ¼ c. flour
- ½ c. chopped onion
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1- 6 oz. can mushrooms and liquid
- 2 Tbsp. Fat
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. cooked rice

Preparation
Step 1
Roll meat in flour; brown in hot fat in pan. Remove meat; add onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook gently until onions are golden brown. Add remaining things except rice. Cook until thickened and bubbly. Return meat and simmer, stirring occasionally about 1 hour. Serve over rice.
Serves about 4. I usually double recipe.
For spatzle-Cut meat in thin strips.
-Add a little water and a little red wine.
I used 3 lb. meat and doubled the rest.
