Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 2 Tbsps shortening
- 1 can (4 oz) mushrooms
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 2 Tbsps flour
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup Heinz 57 sauce
- ¼ cup minced parsley
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- Hot buttered noodles.

Step 1
Lightly combine first 4 ingredients; form into 16 meatballs. In large skillet, partially brown meatballs in shortening. Drain off excess fat.
Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Stir mushrooms and onion into skillet; sauté until onion is tender. Stir in flour, then reserved mushroom liquid, water, 57 sauce, and parsley.
Cover; simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slowly stir in sour cream; heat, do not boil. Serve immediately over hot buttered noodles.
