Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup soft butter
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed down
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1/2 cup flour, pack down when measuring
• 3 cups oatmeal
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter and sugars on high speed on mixer until fluffy
Add the eggs and beat well on medium speed
Add vanilla, salt and baking soda and mix on low speed
Add flour in 1/2 cup increments and mix on medium speed
Add oatmeal and mix on low speed
Add in chocolate chips

Spray cookie sheets with Pam spray. Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet.

Bake 350 for 9-11 minutes
Makes about 3 dozen
