  • 1 lb hamburger
  • taaco seasoning mix
  • 1 16 oz can tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can kidney beans
  • 12 oz shredded monterey jack
  • 6 corn tortillas (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • avocado strips
  • chopped tomatoes


Servings 6
Cooking time 30mins


Step 1

Brown hamburger, stir in taco seasoning mix, tomatoes and drained kidney beans simmer 5 mins. Cut corn tortillas into strips. Place half in 2 qt casserole dish. Top with 1/2 of meat mixture and 2 cups shredded cheese. Repeat tortilla and meat layers. Bake at 350 for 30 mins. Spread sour cream and garnish with avocado and tomatoes.
