Ingredients
- Nut filling:
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 2 egg yolks (beat in cup & set aside)
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 2-1oz. cake yeast (put in water to dissolve)
- 1 lb. ground walnuts
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. sugar

Step 1
Nut filling:
Bring water to boil, add sugar, bring that to boil. Add nuts, bring that to boil. Cool.
Mix flour, salt, sugar, and oleo like pie dough. Add egg yolks, then yeast. Mix together and make into 4-5 balls. Roll out one at a time 1/8" thick. Spread nut filling over rollup.
Place on greased and floured cookie sheets, let stand at room temp. for 20-30 mins. Bake at 350 for 35 mins. Take out of pan 5 mins. after taken out of oven.
