Edna Porter's yummy melt-in-your-mouth cookies.

Ingredients

• 1/2 c sugar
• 1/2 c brown sugar
• 1/2 c peanut butter
• 1/2 c shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 c flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well. Roll into small balls & place on cookie sheet. Pat down with fork dipped in hot water. Bake @ 350F for 10 minutes.
