Cheese/Garlic Grits

Ingredients
- 3 C chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1 C regular grits
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1/4 C milk
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 stick butter
- 4 oz grated sharp white cheddar

Preparation
Step 1
Butter a 2 qt casserole dish. Preheat to 350 °F
Bring broth, salt, pepper, garlic powder to a boil. Stir in grits and stir until conbined. Reduce to low and simmer until thick. Add cubed cheddar and milk, stir. Gradually add eggs and butter, stir until combined.
Pour into a casserole and top with the white cheddar. Bake 40 minutes or until set.
