Ingredients

  • Flour- 3lb
  • Salt- 1 tbsp.
  • Baking Powder- 1/3 cup
  • Milk- 1 1/2 cups
  • Water- 1 1/2 cups
  • Shortening- 1 1/2 cups
  • Butter- 2 sticks

Preparation

Step 1

With paddle. Cream butter and shortening together. Add flour, salt, baking powder. Slowly add liquids. Mix until dough comes away from sides. Roll out dough to 1" thick. Cut with biscuit cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 400 10 minutes then turn tray and bake additional five minutes. you may not need to use all liquid it may make it too wet.
