Aunt Maudie’s Sugar Cookies-Donna Jones

Ingredients

• add:
• Beat 2 eggs with fork/whisk
• 2/3 c. cooking oil – stir into eggs
• 2 ts. Vanilla – stir in
• 3/4 c. sugar – blend in until mixture thickens
• 2 cups flour
• 2 ts. Baking powder
• 1/2 ts. Salt
• Sift above ingredients together – mix with other mixture.

Preparation

Step 1

Drop by small spoon, press lightly with greased glass coated with sugar.

Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes. Cookies will almost be white when fully cooked. If left to brown, they will be too well done.
