  • flour 2 cupss
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • cream cheese 1 (8-ounce) package softened
  • butter 1 cup
  • white vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • milk 1 tablespoon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°
Combine flour, and salt
With a knife cut in the cream cheese and butter until mixture resembles cornmeal
Add milk and vinegar, work dough with hands until it holds together
Divide into 4 equal balls, wrap in wax paper and refrigerate at least 2 hours
On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball of dough out to 1/8" thick
Cut into 2 1/2" squares
Add filling, fold corners over and pinch together to seal (can use milk to help hold together)
Bake on cookie sheet for 15 minutes

Makes ~ 280 cookies
