  • 1 jar (29 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 lbs. ricotta cheese
  • 1 package (12 oz) shredded mozzarella
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 T. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 package (12 oz.) jumbo shells

Preparation

Step 1

Cook shells according to package directions. Spoon one cup of sauce into the bottom of a large baking dish. Reserve remaining sauce.
Cook spinach as directed on package; drain well removing as much moisture as possible and mix with ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, eggs and parmesan cheese in a large bowl. Using a spoon fill each shell with cheese mixture. Arrange shells in a single layer on sauce in baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with reserved sauce.
Makes 32 shells. Half the recipe to serve 4 – 6 people but have plenty of sauce on hand.
