This is an excellent topping for your awesome pupusas!
Some people feel that it’s best to allow this mixture to sit for longer than 20 minutes. You can create it the day before and let it sit overnight. Also, have fun with this recipe and mix in spices you enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1/2 Head of Green Cabbage (shredded)
- 1 Carrot (Grated)
- 3 minced Green Onions
- 1 Cup White Vinegar
- 2 Teaspoons Dried Oregano
- 1/2 Cup of Water

Preparation
Step 1
Boil 1.5 quarts of water remove water from heat.
Combine cabbage and carrot, and place in boiling water for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, drain cabbage and place in large bowl.
Mix in the remaining Green Onions, White Vinegar, Dried Oregano and Water.
Mix ingredients.
Place in fridge for 20 minutes.
