Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. ground beef
  • 3 large onions, chopped medium
  • 3 sticks large celery, chopped medium
  • 2 large green peppers, chopped medium
  • 3 cans red kidney beans, drained
  • 4 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Crumble fry ground beef until done. Season onions, celery, and green peppers with salt and pepper, add chili powder and fry small amount of oil until medium soft. Combine meat, onions, peppers, celery, beans, mushrooms, tomato soup and Tabasco sauce in a pot. Simmer for 1 hour. Add 1 cup ketchup and simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve or cool and freeze.
