  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • one half stick butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Put foil in a pan and butter foil. Stir sugar cocoa salt and milk cook over medium heat stirring constantly until full rolling boil. Boil without stirring to 234°F remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Do not stir. Cool to 110°F. Beat with a wooden spoon until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss. Spread quickly into pan.
