Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c butter softened
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 c chopped walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1


Preheat oven to 375F
Stir flour with baking soda and salt
In large bowl beat butter with sugars at medium speed until creamy
Add vanilla and eggs one at a time
Mix on low speed until incorporated
Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets
Bake 9-11 minutes until golden brown
