Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1/2 t celery salt
- 1/2 t caraway seeds
- 1/4 t crushed red pepper
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 1 T chili powder
- 1/4 C fresh basil
- 1 1/2 t salt

Preparation
Step 1
Saute beef, onion & garlic in olive oil. Add tomato sauce & tomato paste, seasonings. Simmer over low heat at least 1 hr. Just before serving add basil.
