Corn Chowder

Ingredients
- ½ lb Bacon, diced
- 1 med. Onion
- ½ cup Chopped Celery
- 5 T Flour
- 4 cups Milk
- 2 can Creamed Corn (more)
- 1 can Whole kernel corn (sweet)
- 1 can Diced potatoes
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- Sniped Parsley
- Paprika

Preparation
Step 1
1. In large saucepan, fry bacon, remove and drain.
2. Pour all but 3 T. drippings from saucepan. (alternatively use 3 T butter)
3. Add onion (and celery) and cook till tender. Remove from heat.
4. Blend in flour, cook on low, stirring till bubbly. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir (reduce to thicken)
6. Stir in corn, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Heat through.
7. Stir in bacon. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika
*Adjust ingredients to taste – dbl corns
*DO NOT heat at temperature above medium. EVER!
*Re-heatable
Can substitute pulled pork or smoked turkey for bacon.
