- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, separated
- ½ cup oil
- ½ cup water
- 2 tbs. vanilla
- 2 egg whites

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 17.5 x 12.5 inch jelly roll pan. Sift together 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a bowl whisk together the yolks, oil, water, and vanilla until blended. Add the dry ingredient slowly, whisking.
Beat the egg whites until foamy and soft peaks form, slowly add the remaining ½ cup sugar, beating until the whites are thick and shinny. Fold 1/3 of the whites into the yolks, and then fold the yolks into the whites. Pour into a prepare pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
