Banana Split Dessert

Ingredients
- 3 cups graham crackers, crushed
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 eggs
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- Large tub Cool Whip
- Bananas, sliced
- Strawberries, sliced (optional)
- Nuts, chopped
- Maraschino Cherries

Step 1
Melt one stick of oleo. Mix together the melted oleo and graham crackers with a pastry blender; Pat firmly into the bottom of a 11” x 15” baking dish to form a layer. Cream together the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and one stick of oleo for 10 minutes with a hand mixer. Spread the creamed mixture over the graham cracker layer. Place the pineapple over the creamed mixture and then spread the bananas (generously) over the pineapple layer. (You can add a layer of strawberries over the bananas if you’d like) Spread the Cool Whip over the bananas (OR strawberries – if you used them) and top with cherries and nuts. Refrigerate overnight; Cut and serve. **This recipe can also be frozen if it is covered with foil.*
