Ingredients
- 1 cup poha (rice flakes)
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
- 2 tbsp refined flour (maida)
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste

Step 1
1. Soak the poha for 5 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chopped onion, refined flour & roast for
two to three minutes.
3. Add red chili powder, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, stir & mix well.
4. Remove from heat & transfer the mixture into a bowl, add soaked poha, mashed potatoes,
salt, chopped coriander leaves & lemon juice. Mix well.
5. Divide the mixture into eight to 12 equal portions & shape each into a cutlet.
6. Heat oil in a kadai & deep fry cutlets till golden.
7. Drain onto an absorbent paper & serve hot with green chutney.
