Ingredients

  • 1 5 LB Chicken
  • 1 tspn paprika
  • 1 tspn dry yellow mustard
  • 1 TBSPN sea salt
  • 1 tspn brown sugar
  • 1/2 tspn pepper
  • 1 tspn garlic powder
  • 1 tspn onion powder
  • BASTING SPRAY
  • 1 can of beer
  • 2 cups cider
  • 2 TBSPN olive oil
  • 2 TBSPN balsamic vinegar

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients together and rub chicken inside and out with it. Open can of beer, pour half into a spray bottle and add cider, olive oil, and vinegar. Insert can into chicken's butt (oops, cavity). With the chicken resting on the can, BBQ for about 2 hours at around 350 degrees with grill cover down. Spritz chicken with the basting spray while cooking (let it cook about 30 mins first)

When the legs and wings are fairl loose, chicken is done. Lift off grill with an oven mitt, carve and serve.
