Ingredients

  • 1 package manacatte pasta
  • MEAT
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground meat, or veal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 1 onion,chopped
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 16 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 16 ounces of water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

1 Saute onions and mushrooms till browning.
2 Boil together rest of the sauce ingredients.
3 In a separate bowl combine all meat ingredients.
4 Stuff pasta with meat mixture, and place in a medium pan.
5 Cover pasta with sauce.
6 Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours
