Ingredients
- Pie:
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 1 cup Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (Not evaporated milk)
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup almonds, toasted and chopped
- Glaze:
- 1 cup Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup whipping cream, unwhipped
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Pie:
Preheat oven to 375°. Bake pastry shell 10 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 325°. Melt chips with margarine. In large mixer bowl, beat chocolate mixture with sweetened condensed milk, biscuit mix, eggs and extract. Add almonds. Pour into pastry shell. bake 35 to 45 minutes or until center is set. Top with Chocolate Glaze. Cool Garnish as desired.
Chocolate Glaze:
Melt 1 cup Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips with 1/2 cup whipping cream, unwhipped and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Stir until smooth. Immediately spread over pie.
