Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Grandmother's Sunday Roast seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Onion Slices
  • 1 12-ounce jar beef gravy
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the egg, ground beef, bread crumbs, and seasoning. Shape into 4 oblong patties. Freeze 2 parties for later use. Coat remaining 2 patties with flour.

Heat oil in frying pan. Brown patties on both sides then remove from pan. Put onion slices in frying pan and fry until tender. Stir in beef gravy, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce. Place patties back into pan and cover with the gravy.

Put lid on pan and place in a 350 degree oven. Bake for 30 minutes.

Serve with mashed potatoes.
