Potato Cakes

Ingredients

• 2 C mashed potatoes with milk & butter
• 1 egg
• 1 TB chives
• 1 tsp parsley
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1/8 tsp garlic
• 1/8 pepper
• 1/4 C parmesan cheese
• all purpose flour
• ALL SPICES ARE OPTIONAL
• serve with apple sauce to sour cream to dip

Preparation

Step 1

mix mashed potatoes , cheese, egg, & 3 TB flour
form into patties
lightly coat patties in flour
fry for 3 min on each side


after patties are formed you can place them on a sheet in the freezer. when they are partially frozen place in ziplock and freeze for up to 4 months
