  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 cups water
  • Chopped yellow onion
  • Chopped celery
  • Olive oil
  • Thyme
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped green onion

Preparation

Step 1

Bring rice and water to a boil, then turn heat to low and cook for 50 minutes. Drain extra water.

Cook chopped yellow onion and chopped celery in olive oil, until soft adding thyme, salt and pepper. Add green parts of chopped green prior to serving.
