Ingredients

  • 3

    carrots cut up (peeled - or use baby carrots instead)

  • 3

    potatoes cut up (peeled)

  • 2

    lbs stew meat cut in 1-½ inch cubes

  • 1

    cup water

  • 1

    tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1

    clove garlic (or just a little garlic powder)

  • 1

    bay leaf (optional)

  • ½

    Tbsp salt

  • ½

    tsp pepper

  • 1

    tsp paprika

  • 3

    or more onions, quartered (take the skins off)

  • 1

    stalk celery with tops, cut up (optional)

Directions

Put all ingredients in crockpot in the order listed. Stir just enough to mix spices. Cover and set to low for 10-12 hours (high 5-6 hours).
