Ingredients

  • Dough for White or Dark:
  • 10 egg yolks
  • 10 tbsp. sugar
  • 10 tbsp. oil
  • 1 pkg. vanilla
  • 1 lemon zest
  • flour as needed (approx 3+ cups)
  • White Filling:
  • 10 egg whites, beaten stiff with a little salt (or crème of tartar)
  • Add:
  • 400 gr. Sugar
  • 500 gr. Almonds, blanched, skin removed, ground
  • 1 pkg. vanilla
  • 1 lemon zest
  • Chocolate Filling:
  • 10 egg whites, beaten stiff with a little salt (or crème of tartar)
  • Add:
  • 300 gr. Almonds, toasted, ground
  • 300 gr. Sugar
  • 200 gr. Chocolate (chopped fine w/knife)
  • Cinnamon (to taste, I use 1 tbsp)
  • 1 pkg. vanilla (I use 2 tsp pure vanilla extract)

Preparation

Step 1

Dough: Mix first 5 ingredients together. Add flour. Roll into 1" ball, press into tin tarts. Add Filling and bake at 325 for 22-24 min. Keep an eye on them.
