BUTTER AND PECORINO PASTA (Distasio) 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • • 1 lb of pasta
  • • 2 to 4 tablespoons of butter or olive oil (or both equally)
  • • 2 teaspoons of grounded pepper
  • • 1 1/3 cups of romano cheese or grated parmesan (or both equally)
  • • Fresh minced herbs (oregano basil or parsley)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water accordingly. 2. While cooking the pasta, melt the butter in a warm serving plate. 3. Drain the pasta and keep 1 cup of the cooking liquid. 4. Put the pasta in the serving plate and mix well. 5. Add slowly the cheese mixing well in adding the cooking liquid as needed. 6. Use all the remaining cheese.. Note : we could also use the zest and the juice of one lemon.
