Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 12 oz pitted prunes
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Add enough water to lemonade to measure 2 cups. Simmer prunes in this liquid until very tender -5 to 8 minutes. Combine brown sugar, flour, salt and walnuts. Add to prunes and cook, stirring, until thick(about 5 minutes). Cool.

Makes enough for 2-1/2 rolls - for 1 roll, use half of recipe.
