Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup butter
- Top Layer:
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder

Preparation
Step 1
For the crust, sift flour, add 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar. Add butter and blend until mixture clings together. Pour into a 9 X 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.
For top layer, beat eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice. Sift 1/4 cup flour and add 1/2 tsp baking powder. Stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes or until done.
Cut when cold and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Can be frozen.
