Ingredients
- 1 c shortening
- Pinch of baking powder
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 c flour

Preparation
Step 1
Blend softened shortening with sugar
Add beaten egg
Sift in flour and baking powder
Add a little more flour if needed
Chill mixture about 1/2 hr
Roll out and cut in circles
Bake 10 min at 350
When cooled put together with jam and ice with icing sugar mixed with hot water
