Ingredients
- 3/4 c butter or shortening
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1 1/2 c rolled oats (not instant)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Jam-strawberry,raspberry,apricot (your choice)

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together the butter and sugar
Add the egg and vanilla
Combine the flour, soda,baking powder and salt
Add to the egg/butter mixture
Fold in the rolled oats
Roll dough into small balls (about the size of a walnut)
Make a small indentation in the top
Fill with jam before baking
Bake 10 min at 350
