Ingredients
- 3 3 3 medium beets, greens removed,*
- 1/2-inch-thick and sliced into 1/2-inch-thick slices
- 1 1 1 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp. kosher salt, divided
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, divided
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup balsamic glaze**

Cooking Time: 16 to 20 minutes
1. Coat an outdoor gas grill rack with cooking spray and set 6 inches from the heat source. Preheat the grill to medium.
2. Add the beet slices to the rack. Brush them with olive oil, and sprinkle them with salt and black pepper. Cover the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Turn the beets and brush with the remaining olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Cook another 8 to 10 minutes.
3. Place the beets in a serving dish, over cooked beet greens or fresh salad greens if desired, and drizzle with the balsamic glaze.
