- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup King Arthur flour
- 1/2 cup walnut meats, cut in pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a double boiler, over medium-low heat, melt the chocolate and butter. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, salt, flour, walnuts and the vanilla. Pour mixture into a 9-by-9-inch baking pan with the bottom lined with wax paper, cut to fit and buttered. Spread the mixture to fill the bottom of the pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. when the brownies are done, plaace pan, upside down on a wire rack. Let cool. Remove wax paper and cut into 16 squares.
