Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 T cocoa
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup cocoa (4 T)
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 miniature marshmallows (cut in 1/2)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
Sift together into mixing bowl: 2 cups flour (less 2 T), salt, sugar and cocoa Bring these to boil and pour over dry ingredients&beat until creamy: cold water, cooking oil, margarine, buttermild, eggs slightly beaten, soda (dissolved in buttermilk) Beat well with mixer; bake in greased jelly-roll pan (10x15 or 11x6) bake at 400, for 16-18 mins. Frost with following frosting while cake is hot. Frosting: Bring to boil: margarine, cocoa, buttermilk Add sufficient powdered sugar and vanilla while hot. Beat smooth then add marshmallows, pecans and put warm frosting on warm cake.
