- Shepherd’s Pie
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium chopped onion
- Pinch basil
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cups peas and carrots (canned or frozen are fine)
- 1 can beef gravy
- salt & pepper to taste
- mashed potatoes

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Brown beef and onions in heavy frying pan and drain excess fat. Add basil, bay leaf, salt (not really needed) and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Add corn and peas to beef mixture. Top with mashed potatoes. Bake 15- 20 minutes.
