  • 2 pkgs (8.6 oz) mico chocolate cake
  • 1 pkg (3 5/8 oz) chocolate pudding & pie filling
  • 4 cup milk divided
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 pkg (3 1/4 oz) vanilla pudding & pie filling
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 1/2 cup cool whip
  • 2 large bananas sliced
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts

Step 1

Prepare cakes according to package directions. When cool cut into long cubes and set aside. For chocolate filling pour chocolate pudding into 1 1/2 qt bowl. Stir in 2 cups mild until blended. Cook on High 5-8 mins stirring twice until mixture comes to a boil. Add chocolate pieces. Stir until melted. Cover and chill. For peanut filling prepare vanilla pudding as above adding peanut butter instead of chocolate. To assemble trifle fold 1 cup topping into filling. Place 1/2 of cake cubes in long glass bowl. Spoon 1/2 of peanut butter filling over cubes then spoon 1/2 of chocolate filling on top. Layer bananas and peanuts over peanut butter filling. Reserving 1 tbls peanuts. Repeat with remaing ingredients ending with 1 1/2 cup topping and reserved peanuts.
