  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 8 oz. whip
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • FROSTING
  • 1 lb. confectionery sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Preparation

Step 1

1 combine all cake ingredients except hot water
2 when well mixed add boiling water
3 spoon into cupcake holders 3/4 full
4 bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean
5 meanwhile combine all frosting ingredients, adding more milk till its a spreading consistency
6 wait till cupcakes cool completely and spread on cream
