Ingredients
- FILLING:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8 1/2 x 11 glass baking dish with Pam and set aside.
- 1 1/2 quart fresh blackberries, crushed
- 1 1/4 cup sugar, or to taste
- Cobbler Batter:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

Step 1
Filling: Bring to a boil. ( I thicken it a little with a cornstarch and water mixture.) Cobbler Batter: Mix flour, sugar, milk, egg, and baking powder in a bowl. Pour melted butter. Pour berry filling on top of batter and bake 45 minutes or until cobbler is golden brown. Can be served warm with vanilla ice cream. SMOKIN' GUNS BBQ
