Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (oleo)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-3 oz. cream cheese (room temp)
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Step 1
Mix all ingredients and roll in wax paper and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice 1/4" thick. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. They are not supposed to be brown, just set a little. Test with toothpick if you like.
