Ingredients

2 sticks oleo or 1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup salad oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix all ingredients together. Form into 1" balls and roll in sugar. Place onto cookie sheet and press with fork tines. Turn fork 90 degrees and press again. Bake for 10 minutes then cool.
