Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. Flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 cup Butter
• 6 Tbsp (1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp) Sugar
• 6 Tbsp (1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp) Brown Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla
• 1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
• Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Set aside. Cream butter. Add sugar and brown sugar gradually, and continue beating until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in sifted ingredients. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets, placing cookies well apart. Bake @ 350 F for about 8-10 minutes.
