- 1 lb Polish sausage or kielbasa
- Sliced bacon
- Brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Place bacon on a wire rack over a baking sheet and par cook in a 400 degree oven until beginning to show signs of browning, about 10 minutes. Slice Polish sausage or kielbasa into 24 chunks. Wrap each chunk with 1/2 slice of bacon and secure with toothpick. Add a teaspoon or so of brown sugar to the tops of each piece. Place in a shallow pan and smoke until bacon has crisped and brown sugar has melted into a glaze.
To add some variety to the snacks, try placing a thin slice of fresh ginger or some red pepper flakes under the sugar. Or give them a shake of black or red pepper on top. Also good dipped in barbecue sauce.
